Which iPhones work best?

Phantom detection compares several rear cameras at once, so iPhones with two or three rear cameras get the most from it. iPhones with a LiDAR scanner (Pro models) also measure range precisely. Single-camera iPhones run in a reduced mode.

The instruments say "lay flat" or "figure-8"

Vibration readings need the phone resting still on a surface. The magnetometer calibrates when you move the phone in a figure-8 a few times.

Why set a baseline?

Every room has its own normal magnetic, vibration and pressure levels. A baseline records 60 seconds of the quiet room so alerts only fire on real changes.

I bought Haint Spotter Pro on another device

Open the Pro screen from any locked feature and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Camera or microphone permission was denied

Open Settings › Haint Spotter and turn on Camera, Microphone and Motion & Fitness.
